Treewraith:((Ripped from deviantart, all kudos to the creator))Treewraiths are small undead creatures, about the size of a Dwarf, that generally glide two or three feet above the ground. Their bodies seem to be made out of solid darkness, in which large red eyes of different sizes constantly open and close, while their arms are made out of flesh and bark an amalgamation of their previous living life and the trees from which they spawn. The air around a Treewraith is constantly cold, and they shy away from heat and bright light, this unnatural chill that emanates from their bodies is often lethal to nearby living creatures freezing them from the inside and making them sluggish, easy pickings for a hunting pack of the undead creatures. Dressing in the rags of their fallen enemies these shades tend to hunt in flocks, their diminutive size balanced by larger numbers as well as the piled freezing effect of many wraiths at the same place. It is unknown where the Treewraiths come from, though Sylvan lore claims that they are spirits of evil men and women given to Salmaridon, the tree-god of the dark elves. Whose corrupting influence transforms flesh into bark and as such tries to make an image of the corruptor out of the living. The Sylvans also claim that the Treewraiths are creatures of pure spirit. This theory hold more credence as a dying wraith will either meld with the surrounding trees or disappear completely, possibly being banished to the "spirit world" of sylvan lore.
