I've intentionally tiptoed around the language-bit  This low-ish fantasy, right during the transition between dark ages and more enlightened times. Learning is still (somewhat) reserved for those with wealth and power. So to me, the extra language-slot for most is taken up by the simple fact that they know common. I'm playing the language-thing loosely though, so if you feel that your char has made a special effort to learn another cultures way of speaking (and you have enough INT for it), then you are free to add it without any intervetion from me. I don't hink anyone here is a powergamer so I'm going with "gentlemans honor" on this one. |
