Torm:
Torm is a small village near the mountain range that separates the dwarven lads of Skarvidda and those of Kaer Maeghol, the lads of the dark elves. The village itself is small, with less than a hundred dwarves on permanent residence, and the only thing that makes the hamlet worthy of note is its proximity to Yrms crossing, a long crevasse that forms a natural pass across the mountains. This pass is a holy site for the dwarves and a temple to Yrm has been constructed at the dwarven side of the mountains at the edge of the pass. Torm therefore also serves as a supply-point for the clergy of the temple and a place to rest for any pilgrims that come to visit the holy grounds. The village itself is more or less self sustaining, the nearby trollwoods give enough hunting and fishing opportunities for the village, and during summer smaller crops will be tended to. Logging, woodcutting and the occasional pilgrim allows commerce to flow slowly through the hamlet and the acquisition of new materials from the outside world.
