Due to some distinct things about the different races, some classes have been restricted within certain races.
Barbarian: Can be used by any race.
Bard: Can be used by any race, though Dwarven bards are more common.
Cleric: Can be used by any race
Druid: Almost exlusive to the Sylvan elves, though some Qua'hib shamen fit into this description as well.
Fighter: Can be used by any race.
Monk: Can be used by any race, though Dark elven monks are more common.
Paladin: Can only be used by Valecians and Dark elves, as they are the only races to have truly militaristic arms of their respective churches.
Ranger: Can be used by any race.
Rouge: Can be used by any race.
Sorcerer: Is almost exlusively a dwarven class, as their rune-mages (The Sprangurvalda) use a system more akin to sorcery than wizardry.
Wizard: Can be used by any race except dwarves, whos magic-style leans more towards sorcery.
Also be aware that magic steming from Nimth (i.e. wizards and clerics from Valecia) will be influenced by water, meaning that any spell will have a "watery" flavour to it. Magic missiles might for instance take the shapes of globes of water or icicles (probably the former), while healing spells quite litterally conjures healing water. Dwarves are connected with fire and runes, the Salmaradim with darkness, subversion/subjugation and Qua'hib with the Light/the Sun. Sylvan magic can take most shapes, depending on what type of spirit the arcanist is dealing with.
All summoning spells are restricted to the Sylvans and Dark elves! They are the only races to dabble in spirit and demon summoning respectively. The stats of any summoned creatures do not change. but The Salmaradim summon imps, and shapeless horrors, while the sylvans give shape to nature spirits.
