Well, seeing as I keep telling myself I am going to do it, I intend to start up a D&D campaign. The setting thus far will be the jungles of Chult. You will arrive via boat (most probably anyways) in the port city of Nyganzaru. The characters participating will meet up there and proceed with the rest of the campaign. House rules and character guidelines (If you wish to play along the campaign.): House Rules: Your first character HD is maxed [D4 = 4+con Hp for instance] all others must be rolled. A roll of a one is a Critical Failure. These often result in humorous and occasionally painful happenings. [Worst thus far was a crit. miss with a greatsword that critically injured a member of the party I was DMing for] Character Creation: All supplements will be open, as long as your character is justifiable. Starting Level of 8. Starting cash to be roughly equivalent to racers campaign. If you can explain how your character got it and its not ridiculously over the limit, you will probably get it. [The key there is being reasonable of course.] Good to Neutral preferred. If you play evil run it by me first, and dont expect to play an obviously evil character. Sneaky + evil = alright. Obvious + Evil = probably will die quickly due to where you are traveling. And finally: Characters must have... character. We don't really want a Minmax. [See goblins.keenspot.com/d/20050709.html] Continue from there if you would like a firmer grasp of what not to make character wise. Focus on the fighter. That is all I have so far. I intend to provide a 'guide' character to get you to and from the location, seeing as its a nigh impenetrable jungle and all that. Give a yell if you are interested. If i have a couple people willing to play I'll get a sub-forum set up and start to flesh out the campaign more.
