With a surprising efficiency the party moves into the room. The elves take out their ranged weapons and flank the door, standing with nocked arrows looking for signs of movements. Glorgar -wide eyed and scared- takes position with them, his quaint weapon of choice (the long shears) held in his hands. The other three members cautiously move in, stepping over loose piles of debris as they try to assess the situation. The main temple room is large, at least 90 feet across, and the centre is -was- dominated by a raised circular dais upon which sits a twelve foot statue of Yrm. The dais has sunk halfway into the floor however, toppeling over to the left, as if a giant mole had dug his way beneath it. Around the statue in all direcations there are stone and wooden benches, some of them overturned, meant to hold the congregation during their prayers, it is in and around this area that the large holes and the majority of the bodies are scattered. The domed celing is supported by four large pillars, and the walls are covered with tapestries to keep out the winter cold. Along the wall to the left you can see a long table, full with food -now cold and a bit stale- as well as a screened off area in the far away corner. A door also sits in the middle of the wall, most probably leading to the roofed walkway you saw from outside. The right hand area Contains a smaller shrine to Eldasvagga -the dwarven godess of fire, life and many other things- with its own set of benches, and paraphernelia. Another door, leading to the second roofed walkway no doubt, sits in the centre of the right hand wall as well. Next to the right hand door there are several weapon racks. Half empty, though it's easy to see where the weapons went when you look around the room. Itrav:Next to the door through which you enter you see two large logs. They're not normal debris, but rather seem to have been used to brace the door at some point. You also note that the long table and the weapon rack are curiously placed. You wouldn't put it above the dwarves to have such things in their main temple hall, it's just that it feels as if they'd been moved here recently.
((This is as much as you can glen without being more specific -and before the other react-))
Rashid:The bodies that are lyring here are armed, and -in case of the guards- armoured. Ther are also a few scattered weapons lying around. In fact, there are way more weapons than bodies....and way too few bodies for the blood pools. All in all the math doesn't add up.

Bnor:You examine the bodies. They have died from lanceration, bruises and smaller cuts. You are not a specialist, but you'd hazard a guess that it was not done by slashing weapins in any case. Also, some of the wounds are very small, like the sting of a rapier or the bite of an asp. Also, whatever attacked here had a perchance for eyes. At least half of the eight bodies left here have had one (or more!) eyes popped, either during or after whatever fate befell them. It is all very unnerving really. ((You do not have time to check the holes as well. Not before the others react anyway)) [/i][/i]
